SMS Communications Terms

Program description

By providing your mobile phone number and purchasing a ticket on TetherTickets, you agree to receive transactional text messages from TetherTickets at that number, including:

  • Ticket purchase confirmations.
  • Reminders ahead of an event you have tickets for.
  • Urgent alerts about unsigned waivers, schedule changes, weather cancellations, or check-in instructions.
  • Transactional account messages (e.g., sign-in code if requested).

These messages are required to deliver the service you purchased. They are not marketing or promotional messages.

Frequency and cost

Message frequency varies based on the events you purchase tickets for. You can expect roughly 2–6 messages per event.

Standard message and data rates may apply. Carriers do not charge TetherTickets for receiving SMS but may charge you depending on your wireless plan. Contact your wireless carrier for details.

Supported carriers (United States)

AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, Sprint, Boost, Cricket, U.S. Cellular, Virgin Mobile, MetroPCS, and most regional carriers. Compatible with iOS and Android devices.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Help and opt-out

  • Reply HELP to any message for help info.
  • Reply STOP, CANCEL, END, or UNSUBSCRIBE to opt out at any time. We'll send a single confirmation, then no more messages.
  • Reply START or YES later to re-subscribe.
  • You can also toggle SMS at your account page.

Important: if you opt out, you may miss critical event-related notifications. We strongly recommend keeping SMS on for any event you have tickets for.

Privacy

Your phone number is used solely to deliver the messages described above. We do not sell or rent it to third parties. Read our full Privacy Policy for details.

Records and retention

We maintain a complete log of every message sent (recipient phone, content, delivery status, send time) indefinitely for service-quality, audit, and legal-compliance purposes. Logs are not deleted on a schedule.
